Google allo vs Whatsapp - Messaging War is on

Every messaging app is trying to be the default messaging application on your mobile and WhatsApp seems to be leading the race so far with no sign of slowdown. Google however thinks that there still is an opportunity for an entirely new messaging app that people will want to switch to and we have Google Allo. Which app is better? Which app will rule your messaging for the next few years? Let's discuss!

 I've just installed Google Allo and found out that Google's plan is to attract users with popular features . 7 features that i found are :

  • Google Assistant : A amateur assistant which brings whatever you want from google by typing @google  
  • In-message search : you can just type @google and ask about prospective restaurants or the particular song in the middle of the chat and it will provide you with the links to both in the chat- so it can be viewed and shared with your contact at your discretion.
  •  Automatic response :The app can provide automatic responses to messages on behalf of the user. It does this through a software that contains machine-learning technology, which gets better at picking up the user’s most frequently used responses with increased usage of the app. This is somewhat similar to "NATASHA" in hike messenger except the fact that Allo can be trained where as NATASHA provides programmed responses 
  • Picture recognition : Google corporated ‘photo recognition’ in this app, making it possible for it to recognize a received picture and suggest an automatic response. 
  • End to End encryption with incognito mode of messaging .
  • Text formating , file transfer , picture edit , media support and Stickers
  • Finally the Brand tag line GOOGLE
In contrast, WhatsApp seems to be doing pretty well with its minimal feature set. The only thing working for WhatsApp, IMHO, is that it's already captured 90% of your entire contact list and it's incredibly hard for anyone to make you give up on all of that. 

 I must mention one more app that Google's released - Google Duo. It's a video calling app which IMHO should have been bundled with Google's Allo. Video calling is one of the most awaited feature of WhatsApp and it's pretty likely that they'll release it soon.

Whatsapp Revoke text - update

Whatsapp is planning a new update that will allow users to recall or revoke sent texts as well as edit text that has been sent. Previously we posted an article about  Whatsapp video calling : game changer  that included the newly updated feature of video calling in whatsapp and now its the feature of revoking the texts that users have sent which can be considered as a remarkable feature that whatsapp has ever announced. According to the reports, Whatsapp may soon let users to revoke, recall or edit messages that have been sent to users contact.The feature may users to revoke and re-edit messages sent accidently as well as wrongly sent emoji's and typo errors. This would actually save a lot of users from Embarrassment !! India Nigeria relations

Modi led government have been taking steps to maintain stable and economic relations with the nations in the African Continent. Recently Indian government announced that it would help Nigeria’s economic recovery and growth plan to build competitive economy. Indian commissioner said that India offered about $174.96million to boost power supply in Nigeria. One of the factors influenced this decision was the trade balance between Nigeria and India.
