All people's network vs Open network

The people of india are really crazy about getting their JIO (all people's network) sim which has become a nightmare for many network providers . Those who are reading this post would have guessed whats that open network is . Yes the war is on between  Airtel and JIO.

  • Airtel 4G uses 2300 MHz spectrum While, Reliance holds the license for 2300 MHz spectrum all over the country plus, 800 MHz spectrum in 10 circles and 1800 MHz spectrum in 6 circles for all kinds of services.
  • Airtel 4G uses TDD-LTE technology, while Reliance plans are to launch 4G services in 1800 MHz band using FDD-LTE technology and overall leveraging both TDD- FDD technologies.
  • Reliance 4G will be launched offering only 4G LTE connectivity, unlike Airtel 4G which may revert to older technologies like 3G or 2G.
  • According to a report by brokerage firm Credit Suisse, download speed on 4G network of Reliance Jio during its beta-test phase peaked at 70 MB per second but remained in 15-30 mbps range on most occasions. At 70 mbps speed, a full movie can be downloaded in about half a minute, while at 15-30 mbps the download time is about three minutes.
  • Ever heard of a Rs.200/- sim card that would offer 75GB 4G VoLTE data and 4500 minutes talk time! Forget Airtel, no one in the  market would offer you this.
  • No Roaming as for JIO. Its far way cheaper than Airtel and Vodafone. Jio charges only INR 50 for per 1Gb where we pay 265 for 1Gb 4G data. Airtel is also set to launch volte and more expensive than other service providers in India.
So i have given you 5 points why JIO is better than AirTel. Although its too early to decide which network is the best yet one can easily say that JIO has the upper hand in terms of technical support.

This is my first post in blogger and more is yet to come !!
