Flying car: Dream become a reality


Flying cars are a popular theme in fantasy and science fiction stories.Many Hollywood high budget action movie would feature a scene in which hero would fly car a hundred miles within a few minutes. We have enjoyed these scenes in reel show. But in our real life, flying cars are made possible!!!!!Thanks to companies like   eVolo, Airbus, EHang, Terrafugia, Kitty Hawk, Carplane and many more developed porotype Flying car model!!!!

Each company developed signature flying car model which are unique in their own way. German company eVolo plans to use its VTOL aircraft Called the Volocopter 2X for a pilot taxis. The aircraft has 18 rotors and can fit two people.Presently aircraft is designed for 17 minutes of flight and can recharge within 40 minutes!!

Airbus is developing a single-person autonomous aircraft. Air bus is confident that it will fly a full-size prototype before the end of 2017.The electric aircraft will have 8 rotors and will be able to achieve an altitude of about 1,000 feet.The aircraft designed is self-piloted and have autonomous tech to detect and avoid obstacles.Airbus is also developing Citbus which will be exclusively used for flying taxi system.

E-Hang, a drone company developed autonomous aircraft which fly at 62mph and can reach attitude of 11,000 feet.E-Hang plans to use it aircraft for taxi services in US ,once it gets approval from the Federal Aviation Administration


Terrafugia developed and sells it transition car model (world’s first practical flying car) which needs a runway to take-off and can drive on the road.In-order to operate this vehicle one should have sports pilot license. Currently, company is developing a aircraft which can take off and land autonomously but you would still have to drive it manually.
